Original Group Project (With Yun-Ci Lin, Yu-Ching Tang)


This was an undergraduate project where we were asked to select a Taiwanese brand and redesign it. My group chose WANT WANT, a well-known food company that has been around for over 40 years. Their products are especially popular during Chinese New Year and other traditional holidays, since "WANT WANT" means "good luck" in Mandarin and is often gifted to friends and family. We focused on one of their most popular holiday cookies—redesigning the original packaging and creating a special gift box to hold the product collection. The project is  awarded the Best Creativity Award by Creative Design and Management Department at National Taichung University of Education.

EXHIBITION

(With Yun-Ci Lin, Yu-Ching Tang)

The display was designed by me and constructed by Yun-Ci Lin and me. I took inspiration from traditional Chinese temples, since WANT WANT products are commonly seen as offerings during holidays. The goal was to reflect the cultural significance while highlighting the festive feel of the brand.
